Marion C. Harris, 68, Camby, Indiana, died June 11, 2008, in Hendricks Regional Health, Danville.  Mr. Harris was born September 16, 1939, in Erwin, Tennessee, to the late Alvin Cecil and Lillian (Gillenwater) Harris.

Marion worked for 40 years as a lab technician and in management for Sun Chemical Corporation, retiring in 2000.  He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and loved to garden.

Marion was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Larry Harris.

Survivors include his wife Linda Harris, to whom he was united in marriage August 3, 1963; daughters, Tammy Harris of Camby, Michelle Kieninger of Shelbyville, Julia Kieninger of Martinsville; sisters, Patty Hester of Indianapolis, Romelda Compton of Tennessee; five grandchildren; one great grandchild. 

Funeral service will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 14, 2008, in the Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, June 13, 2008.  Interment will be in I.O.O.F.
