Ruby Pauline Ridner, 74, Camby, Indiana, died May 13, 2008, in her residence. Mrs. Ridner was born December 13, 1933, in Corbin, Kentucky, to the late James Howard and Nola Mae (Hart) Rogers.
Mrs. Ridner was a homemaker and member of Bacon Creek Baptist Church in Corbin, Kentucky. In addition, she was a charter member of Camby Baptist Church, Camby, Indiana. She enjoyed gardening and quilting. Mrs. Ridner enjoyed being with her family and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Ridner was preceded in death by three brothers, Leland, Cleland, and Jay L. Rogers; step grandson, Charlie Tate.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Starlin A. Ridner; sons, Denver Ray Ridner (Sharon) of Paragon, Indiana, Jimmy Dale Ridner (Renee) of Monrovia, Indiana, Scott Allen Ridner (Amy) of Camby, Indiana; daughters, Diana Tate (Charles) of Camby, Indiana, Brenda Faye Ayres (Danny) Terre Haute, Indiana, Myra Sue Denk (Roger) of Camby, Indiana; brothers, Roy Lee Rogers of Indianapolis, Indiana, Ernest Edward Rogers of Indianapolis; fourteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2008, in the Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville, with calling there from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2008. Interment will be in West Newton Cemetery, West Newton, Indiana.
