Frank W. Miller, 86, Mooresville, formerly of Fremont, California, died May 11, 2008, in his daughter’s residence in Mooresville. Mr. Miller was born December 11, 1921, in Vestal, New York to the late Alexander and Elizabeth (Stara) Miller.
Mr. Miller worked for 20 years as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service in California before retiring in the mid 1980’s. Prior to, he served in the United States Army for more than 20 years. He was honorably discharged in 1964 as a Sergant E-5.
Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Lubbes) Miller; three brothers; two sisters.
Survivors include his daughters, Marbeth Jordan of Mooresville, Indiana, Francine Hofer of Waitsburg, Washington, Michelle Lang of Castro Valley, California; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Friday, May 16, 2008, at 10 a.m. in San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Gustine, California. A private family service will be held locally.
