Mary F. Cure Shrake, 79, Mooresville, Indiana, died Wednesday, November 21, 2007 in Meadow Lakes, Mooresville.  She was born June 21, 1928 in Indianapolis to the late Raymond and Velma(Ballard) Cure.  

Mrs. Shrake was a graduate of Mooresville High School.  She worked at Citizens Bank for a number of years as secretary to the president.  In addition, Mrs. Shrake was the bookkeeper for Charles Quillen, being employed at Hadley-Cook-Quillen Insurance for twenty years.  She was a longtime member of the Mooresville Church of God and also attended Grace Missionary Church, Mooresville. 

She was preceded in death by her half brothers, Russell Cure and John Clifton; sister, Louise  Taylor. 

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Leslie “Leck” Shrake; daughter, Deborah Itce (Matt) of Mooresville, Cynthia Walden of Indianapolis; sisters, Edna Smith of Plainfield, Ruth Aranjo of Speedway; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren.  

Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2007 in the Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville.  Visitation will be from 1 to 5 pm. Sunday, November 25, 2007 in the funeral chapel.  Interment will be in White Lick Cemetery Mooresville.
