Shane Allen Nelson, age 39 of Mount Meridian, Indiana, died November 15, 2007 at The Waters of  Greencastle.  He was born May 28, 1968 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by his father Harry Ernest Nelson.

Surivors include his mother Karen Louise Robinson Nelson; wife Cathy Crosby Nelson; daughter Shayna Nicole Nelson; sons Shane Newkirk and Brandon Overton; step-daughter Tara Coy; brothers Carl Nelson, John Nelson and Dale Matiak; sister Ramona Dalton and several nieces and nephews in Minnesota.

A celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 19, 2007 from 4-8 P.M. in Wellspring Christian Church, US Hwy. 40 & Belle Union Road in Fillmore, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to a savings account for Shayna Nelson at First Nation Bank of Greencastle.
