Susan Alice Jaggers, age 98 of Beverly Hills, Florida, formerly of Mooresville, Indiana, died June 25, 2007 in Hendricks Regional Health, Danville, Indiana.  She was born June 3, 1909 in Taylor County, Kentucky to the late George Oliver & Minnie Agnes Newcomb Tandy.

Mrs. Jaggers was a member of North Oak Baptist Church in Citrus Springs, Florida.  She previously was a member of Gasburg Baptist Church.  She enjoyed being a mother and grandmother and also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.

She was the widow of Alonzo King Jaggers to whom she married February 6, 1929 and who died April 4, 1971.  She was also preceded in death by her siblings Ernest Tandy, Ruby Tandy, Albert Tandy, Charles Tandy, Fred Tandy, Crisy Tandy, Katharine Pike and Georgia Vive.

Survivors include her daughters Barbara A. Schrader of Ocala, Florida, Joyce A. Fay of Spring Hill, Florida, Pattie L. Patrum of Stilesville, Indiana, Phyllis M. Williams of Beverly Hills, Florida and Sue C. DeBruler of Mooresville, Indiana; son Alonzo King Jaggers, Jr. of Mooresville, Indiana; 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Calling will be held from 4-8 P.M., Friday, June 29, 2007 in Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville, Indiana.  Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Patrick McGinley at 10 A.M., Saturday, June 30, 2007 in the funeral chapel.  Burial will follow in Mooresville Cemetery, Mooresville, Indiana.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
