Ruth Bell Worrell 88, Mooresville, died Saturday morning, May 5, 2007 at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville, Indiana. She was born August 25, 1918 in Danville, Indiana to the late William David and Alice Ozena (O'dell) Blanton.

Mrs. Worrell was a clerk for the State of Indiana Railroad Dept. for 10 years, retiring in 1977. She was a member of the Garfield Park Church of God, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Mrs. Worrell was preceded in death by brothers Roy Silas, Luther and Robert Blanton, and a sister, Beryl Naomi Helbert. Survivors include her husband, Harry Monroe Worrell of Mooresville, Indiana, whom she married August 24, 1940; special friends, Rev. Charisse Angell Merrick, Revs. Charles G., and Janet Lilly Wanner.

Calling will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2007, in the Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2007, in the funeral chapel with Rev. Charles G. Wanner, Rev. Janet Lilly Wanner, Rev. Ronald Crump, and Rev. Charisse Angell Merrick will officiate. Interment will be in Danville South Cemetery, Danville, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to Garfield Park Church of God, 401 E.
